Virginia A. (Ghidoni) Covel, age 68, of Plymouth, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on October 11, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Covel Sr. She was the loving mother of Desiree Covel of Plymouth, Michelle Mullen and her husband Mark of Plymouth, Mike Covel and his wife Patricia of South Carolina. She was the cherished grandmother of Jenna, Darcy, Darren, Michael, Darius, Shaun, Donte, Daija, and Codi. She was the sister of Warren “Tucker” Ghidoni, Norma Roderick and her husband Bob, and the late Glenn Ghidoni all of Plymouth,
Virginia was born on April 17, 1950 in Plymouth to Dino and Beverly (Burgess) Ghidoni. She attended Plymouth schools and worked for many years at Revere Graphics in Plymouth. She was a member of the Elks Lodge in Plymouth, she enjoyed music and dancing. Virginia was known for her helpful and caring nature, always lending a hand to those in need. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and will be dearly missed.
A period of visitation will take place on Thursday, October 18, 2018, from 11 am to 12 pm with a 12 pm service at Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court Street, Plymouth. The burial will follow the service at Vine Hills Cemetery, Samoset Street, Plymouth.
