Obituaries
Tyler Robert Deardon passed away unexpectedly at the home he shared with his father, on Saturday September 10th, 2022. Tyler was truly one of a kind. He was loyal, loving, and quick to smile that beautiful crooked smile of his. The people that were lucky enough to be his friends knew they could always count on him. Tyler will be missed, and his absence will leave a big hole in many lives.
Tyler loved his comic books, his Pokemon, and his Funko Pops (of which he had a large collection). Growing up in Plymouth he played hockey and loved going to the beach. If you had a question about any Marvel character, he could rattle off their whole story, as well as their foes and timelines. He enjoyed dog sitting for his mom and was always available to help out with stacking firewood in Plymouth or helping his dad out with things at home in Wareham.
He was well known at work for his work ethic, and consistently met or beat expectations. Target was very aware that Tyler marched to the beat of his own drummer and they let him be himself. Tyler also had a talent for photography. He took the most beautiful pictures and had quite the eye. He actually had an art show in Connecticut that was well received. It was a talent that he hadn’t used much in the past couple of years, but we all knew it was there.
Tyler leaves behind his father, Michael Deardon of Wareham, his mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Robert Scannell of Plymouth, his brother Cpl. Kevin Deardon (Rowan Sanko), of Pawcutuck, CT, his grandparents Robert and Carolyn Deardon of Plymouth, his grandfather Robert Davis of Bethel, CT and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones. He was predeceased by his grandmother Susan Davis of Bethel, CT (he coined the name capital G-MA for her).
A period of visitation will take place on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 619 State Road, Plymouth (Manomet). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 17, 2022, 10:00 am at St. Bonaventure Church, 803 State Road, Plymouth (Manomet).
