Tyler James Burton passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2023. Born in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on May 9, 1988, Tyler was the beloved son of Robert Burton and Deborah (Cryer) Burton of Kingston, Massachusetts. He leaves behind his older brother Robert Burton Jr. and younger sisters Caitlin Burton and Courtney Brandon. Sister-in-law Diane Burton and nephew Jackson Burton, brother-in-law Connor Brandon and niece Mae Brandon, and many beloved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.
Tyler was a force, magnetic and undeniable; he never met a stranger and lit up any room he danced his way into. He was known for his charm and charisma, compassionate side and quick-whit humor. He brought an infectious energy and light-hearted spirit with him wherever he went.
A graduate of Plymouth North High School, class of 2006, Tyler was intwined with everything from playing soccer to cheering on other teams as part of the t-squad. He was an exceptional cook, a lover of live music, and a passionately curious student of life.
Tyler had a soft spot in his heart for animals and rescued both an abandoned kitten and dog. Later in his life, he learned the art and discipline of yoga and meditation. He found comfort in connection to the world around him and loved to share his new found practice with his family and friends.
Visitation with Tyler's family will be held at Cartmell Funeral Services, 373 Court Street, Plymouth, MA on July 6th from 3:00PM – 5:30PM, with services at 5:30PM.
