Teresa L. Hines Donelan passed peacefuuly on Thursday January 29, 2004 surrounded by members of her family at the Newfield house. Mrs. donelan was the wife of the late Paul G. donelan. They were married for 50 years. A graduate of Boston Teachers College, Class of 1941, Mrs. Donelan taught in the Boston Public Schools prior to her marriage . She returned to teaching in the Plymouth schools after raising her seven children. Mrs. Donelan retired from teaching in 1985 after 17 years at cold Spring School. Born in Roxbury , Teresa was one of nine children of the late Michael & Annie Hines. She attended school in Boston graduating from roxbury Memorial for Girls, Class of 1937 when she met her future husband. An Active member of St. Peters Church , Mrs donelan was a member of the St. Peters womens League, Fragment Society, Catholic Charities Parenting Programs, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and Plymouth Elementary Retired Teachers. A devoted wife and mother , Mrs Donelan was known for her unselfish spirit in support of family, friends and neighbors and her faithful attendance at St. Peters. She is survived by 3 daughters Monica Donelan, Ann Carlisle and Genevieve Jaeger all of Plymouth, Her sons Gerard of Alameda CA., Michael of Plymouth, timothy of East Hampton and George Donelan of Milton. , her siste Winifred Downey of West roxbury, her brother John Hines of Stoughton and 9 grandchilden and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11:00 am in St. Peters Church Plymouth. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2-5 pm only. Burial in the MA. National Cemetery Bourne.
