Suzanne (Scott) Ryan of Plymouth, passed away at home on December 26, 2022 at the age of sixty. She was the beloved wife of James Ryan; loving mother of Matt Ryan and his wife Tara of Plymouth and Erin Ryan of Westport; cherished grandmother of Jonah, Asher, and Joshua Ryan. She is survived by her parents, Raymond and Rose Scott Jr., was sister of Melissa and Raymond Scott III and aunt of Ashlee Scott, and Zoe, and Eric Davis. She was the daughter-in-law of John and Patricia Ryan, as well as loved and embraced by a large loving extended Ryan family of brother & sister in-laws and nieces & nephews.
Suzanne was born on October 26, 1962 in South Weymouth. She grew up in Hanover and graduated from Hanover High School. She worked for Talbots for many years and after staying home to raise her children, she returned to retail at various stores throughout Plymouth. Most Plymouth residence would know her from CVS, Shaw’s and most recently BJ’s Wholes Sale. She adored all her customers, loved to share with them a smile and discuss how their day was going. She was an avid sports fan and championed all the New England teams. She loved to travel and always started the search for the next adventure as soon as she got home from the last.
A period of visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court Street, Plymouth. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
