Susan May Sullivan Long

Susan M. Long of Brockton and Plymouth, MA., died Friday July 7, at the age of 49 after battling a chronic illness. She is survived by her husband, Vincent Long and their three daughters: Hillary, Susan and Leighanne. Also, her parents, Lucien and Zinaida Sullivan formerly of Brockton, two brothers, Paul Sullivan of Topsham, Maine, and Robert Sullivan of Plymouth and many nieces and nephews. Susan graduated from Brockton High School, class of 1975. She attended Fisher Junior College and received an associate degree in child psychology. She also attended Stonehill College. She was active at church and taught Sunday school at Saint Margaret?s in Bourne. Born on the fourth of July 1957, she loved her summers in Falmouth at the family home. She loved the ocean and the beach. She married Vincent in 1981 and lived in Bath, Maine for a period of time. She was a hard worker and loved life, her family and adventure. She left the work world to dedicate herself to her family. A devoted mother, her greatest accomplishment in life is her three children whom she loved and dedicated herself to. She was a strong woman with compassion and love for all those with whom she associated. She was loved and will be missed. Her memory and spirit will forever be in our hearts. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, July 11, 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 619 State Rd in Manomet. A Funeral Mass will be a St. Margaret?s church on Wed July 12th at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Scholarship fund for the daughters of Susan M. Long, thru Citizens Bank 2260 State Road MA 704 in Plymouth Massachusetts.
