Steven A. Dinsmoor

Steven A. Dinsmoor, of Plymouth formerly of Medford, died on January 4th at home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 60. He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley (Fontaine) of Plymouth, his son Steven and his girlfried Jessica Gallager, his daughter Stephanie Murphy and her husband Brian all of Plymouth. He also leaves his father Arthur Dinsmoor and his wife Carolyn of Medford, his mother Lydia Dinsmoor, his brother Keith Dinsmoor and his wife Stacey, his sister Kathy Fagan and her husband Dan, all of Braintree, his cherished grandsons Brian and Travis Murphy, his love Otilia Sola, and his faithful and loyal companion, Bella. Steven was born in Cambridge and was a dispatch supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service, where he worked for over 20 years. He enjoyed history, collecting WWII memorabilia, reading, his horses, cooking, collecting guns and he was a member of the NRA. He especially enjoyed spending time with his friends and family going out to eat, vacationing at the mountains and beaches in New Hampshire and Maine. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 12th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 6 19 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) from 12 to 3 PM followed by a prayer service at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to the Andrew L. Warshaw, MD Institute for Pancreatic Cancer Research, BUL370C, 55 Fruit St, Boston, MA 02114.
