Obituaries
Steven Francis Leary, 57, departed this earthly life on Saturday, December 24, after living for several years with Parkinson’s Disease and other illnesses.
Steven was born to Joseph and Gertrude Leary and lived his life in Plymouth.
Steven is survived by his daughter Jessica Leary (Tim), South Boston, as well as his eight siblings, Mike Leary (Sue), Kevin Leary (Lucile), Karen Toupal (Gordon), Kathi Forman (Jeff), Dianne Jones (Bill), Brian Leary, Maureen Costa (Alan) and Ken Leary, as well as many nieces and nephews. Steven leaves behind his beloved best friend of many years, Debbie Hixon.
Steven was a self-learner and very handy. He was employed for years in carpentry and maintenance, most recently at The Village at Duxbury.
He loved his family and was proud to be a Leary. His endurance and extreme determination were remarkable, especially if it involved being outdoors! To patiently pay a kindness forward would honor Steven’s life, as this was his way. He will be missed greatly.
A celebration of Steven’s life will be held next Spring.
