Sally Ann (Ward) Domenico of Plymouth, formerly of Northborough and Westborough entered into eternal rest on March 5, 2023 after a period of declining health.
Sally was born in Milford, MA, on September 7, 1940, the beloved daughter of the late Annie E. (Brogan) Ward and Harold Ward of Hopedale, MA.
She was a graduate of Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing and worked in the field for 25 years before making a career change to the staffing industry where she worked in sales, placement and employee training for 20 years.
Sally is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Dick, her son Rich and his husband James LaFortune, and her daughter, Mary Beth Shifman and her husband Ward, all of Newton.
She was the devoted, proud and loving Nana to her 5 grandsons, Teddy and Max Shifman, and Kobe, Ben and Gavin Domenico. She saw beauty and brilliance in each of them. She also loved her grand-dogs Sidney, Sandy and Luna.
Sally loved traveling, the Red Sox and Patriots, and sharing good times with her family and her many friends. She savored time near the ocean. For many years she volunteered with the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra.
Family and friends are invited and encouraged to attend a memorial service in her honor on Saturday March 11th from 12 – 1 pm with a service at 1:00 pm at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home 619 State Rd. Plymouth (Manomet).
Interment will be private.
It is Sally's wish that gifts in her memory be made to either the Boston Gay Men's Chorus, 539 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02116 or the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra, P.O. Box 3174 Plymouth, MA 02360.
