Rose Frances (Rogers) Richmond, age 94 of Plymouth, died peacefully on January 10th. She was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin W. Richmond. Born in Plymouth on December 17, 1928, daughter of the late Manuel and Rose (Motta) Rogers. She was the sister of the late Walter and Bert Rogers, both of Plymouth. She is the loving mother of Clinton Bows and his wife Anne of Plymouth. Cherished grandmother of Joshua and his wife Sarah, Michael and his wife Kristin and Ryan and his wife Kristalyn Bows. She was the great grandmother of Hunter, Mia, and Callie Rose Bows.
She was educated in Plymouth and a lifelong resident of the town. Rose graduated nursing school in 1949, she was a registered nurse at Sturdy Memorial Hospital and various local nursing homes in Plymouth. In her later years she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, baking, bird watching, and her weekly walk to Wood’s Seafood.
Graveside services will held on Thursday January 12th at 11 am At Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Charity of one’s choice.
