Rose P. (Alabiso) Hess of Plymouth, MA, passed away at Sunrise of Plymouth Beach on December 31, 2022 at the age of ninety-six. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl M. Hess; loving sister of Carmela Pecci of Plymouth and her late husband Ateo, the late Angelo Alabiso and his wife Jeanette, and Jeanette Alabiso. She was the aunt of Vincent Alabiso, Nancy McLean, Jack Alabiso and the late Robert Alabiso. She leaves many great nieces and nephews.
Rose was born on July 17, 1926 in East Boston to the late Vincenzo and Nunziata (Tarbi) Alabiso. She grew up in East Boston and lived for many years in Florida and New York. She attended the Leland Powers School of Radio and Theater in Boston. She was an avid writer and wrote scripts for radio stations. She was an active member of the Republican party, Nashua Symphony, and Opera Company. She worked as a fundraiser for a Rabii in New York and the Republican party.
