Rose (Krekoukias) Collas, age 79, of Plymouth died at the Golden Living Center – Oak Hill in Middleboro, October 11, 2011. She was the devoted wife of Andrew J. Collas of Plymouth. Born in Boston, MA on November 30, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Isabella (Diplaris) Krekoukias. She was educated in Boston and moved to Plymouth in 1954. Rose loved singing with the "Sweet Adeline's", gardening and dancing in her earlier years. She was a gifted artist who enjoyed painting with oils. She held a close place near her heart for her beloved dogs. Rose was the loving mother of John Collas and his wife Julie of Plymouth and was the dear sister of Ida Duffy of Dennisport. She was the cherished grandmother of Stephanie and Ashley and great-grandmother of Emma. The funeral Service will take place on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Christ Church Episcopal , 149 Court St., Plymouth. Visitation at the Christ Church Episcopal on Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Cremation will take place at Vine Hills Crematory, Plymouth.
