Obituaries
Roland J. Negretto of Plymouth died peacefully on January 21st. born in Plymouth on October 7, 1918 a son of the late Attilio and Amedea (Stanghelli) Negretto. He was educated in the Plymouth schools and later entered the US Navy serving during WWII as a Radioman 3rd class after the service he went to work for the Plymouth Cordage Co. and General Dynamics in Quincy. A member of the American Legion and VFW in Plymouth he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He is survived by his nephew Paul Guaraldi of Plymouth and several cousins. He was the brother of the late Vilma A. Guaraldi. Services will be private with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Plymouth.
