Obituaries
Robert B. Moran, age 72, of Duxbury, passed away on Tuesday, May 31st, at the BID Hospital in Plymouth. He was the loving brother of Jill Smith and her husband Kenneth of Attleboro, and the late Veronica Vaughn and her late husband Jack of California. He is also survived by his nephew Michael R. Ursillo of Arizona.
Robert was born in Boston on June 8, 1949, son of the late Robert F. and Gilberte (Servotte) Moran. He loved watching wrestling on TV, listening to the Beach Boys or the Beatles, and a good Dunkin Donuts coffee. Robert was a big Bruins and Patriots fan, and enjoyed going to parades, fairs, and concerts. He would often attend workshops with Road to Responsibility. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Roberts’s house manager, caretaker, and friend, John Doonan, as well as all the staff that took special care of him throughout the years.
A graveside service will take place at the Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth, on Wednesday, June 8th, at 10:00 am. Donations in Robert’s memory may be made to Road to Responsibility, 30 Prestige Way Suite #1, Plymouth MA 02360.
