Holton, of Plymouth, Robert E., age 70, died on October 1, 2004 at his home. He was the devoted husband of Janice E. (Davis) Holton of Plymouth and loving father of Lynn Ann McIsaac of Plymouth,MA, David Eugene Holton of Orlando, FL, and Douglas Robert Holton of Plymouth, MA. He was the cherished grandfather of Kelly Ann and Christopher McIsaac and also Madison, Serena and Samantha Holton. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. at the Chiltonville Congregational Church in Plymouth, with Rev. William Fillebrown officiating. Cremation to take place at Duxbury Crematory , Duxbury. US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Robert E. Born in Cambridge MA on March 14, 1934, son of the late Eugene and Dorothy (Franks) Holton. He was a graduate of the Plymouth School System and received his Bachelors Degree in Education from U Mass. He went on to further his education by receiving his Masters Degree from the University of CT. Bob was a very dedicated family man and an educator in Plymouth for over 30 years when he retired from Plymouth North High School as Principal. He loved the ocean, fishing, clamming, gardening, kids and family. He was active in community development and was a member of the Old Colony Club, Plymouth Masonic Lodge, Cold Spring Athletic Club, the American Legion, the Plymouth 350th Committee, the Hall of Fame Committee, the Cape and Islands Guidance Assn., and the South Eastern Mass Assistant Principals Assn.
