Richard F. Pacheco, age 80, a lifelong resident of Plymouth, passed away on Sunday, July 2nd, at the BID Hospital in Plymouth. He was the loving brother of Frederick "Fred" Pacheco of Brockton, Sandra Carney of Fairhaven, and Jean Pacheco of Plymouth. Uncle of Stephen Sylvia, Sherri Sylvia, and Richard Pacheco. He is also survived by one great niece and two great nephews.
Born in Plymouth on January 7, 1943, son of the late Francis Pacheco and Florence (Govoni) Quintal. Richard's life was his work and he did it well as a 50 year employee of the Colonial Restaurant. He was funny, kind, and an overall sweet man. In his younger days he liked to bowl. But, his favorite thing to do was to walk. You could find him walking all over Plymouth. But, above all he loved his family.
A visitation will be held at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court St. (North) Plymouth, on Monday, July 10th, from 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm. Followed by prayers in the funeral home at 7:00 pm. A private burial will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Plymouth. Donations in Richard's memory may be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth MA 02360.
