Obituaries
Phyllis P. McDonough, age 84, of Kingston, passed away on Sunday, October 9th, at the Wingate at the Silver Lake in Kingston. Loving mother of Frank McDonough of Wakefield, Joseph McDonough of Wareham, Jacqueline Fratus of Plymouth, and the late Steven McDonough. Grandmother of Suzanne Fratus, Samantha McDonough, Casandra McDonough, Finton McDonough, as well as great grandmother of Hope Aquino.
Phyllis was born in London England on March 30, 1938, daughter of the late Edward and Pauline Pearce. She moved to the United States in 1971 with her 4 children. Later attending Massasoit Community College where she achieved her associate’s degree in computer science. Phyllis made her career in human resources and previously worked as a hostess for Bert’s and then Ernie’s restaurants. She was an incredible artist and won numerous awards and taught art at the senior center in Plymouth.
A visitation will held at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 150 COURT ST (DOWNTOWN) PLYMOUTH, on Monday, October 17th. From 10:00 am till 12:00 pm. Followed by a service in the funeral home at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place at Vine Hills Cemetery Plymouth. Donations in Phyllis’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105,
