Obituaries
Phyllis J. (Munday) Bulger of Plymouth died peacefully with family by her side on September 14th. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Bulger. Born in Boston May 2, 1931 and daughter of the late Kenneth J. and Katherine (Kelley) Munday. Educated in Boston and graduate of Jamaica Plain High School. Phyllis worked many years for the VA Hospital in Jamaica Plain. She was a longtime volunteer at the Jordan hospital in Plymouth where she received an award for her 13 years of service. Her greatest joy in life was her large and spirited family. She had a welcoming heart, and many felt the warmth of her affection.
Phyllis is survived by her six children, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren: daughters Nancy Sawyer and her husband Robert of Rochester, Janice Ristuccia and her husband Ron of Marshfield, son Richards F. Bulger and his wife Anne of Brewster, daughter Barbara Coakley and her husband Peter of Marshfield, son John Bulger and his husband James of Plymouth, and daughter Ginger Carlson and her husband Gerry of Marshfield. She was the sister of the late Marion Nolan and Sandra Bergeron, and many nieces and nephews.
