Obituaries
Philip W. Hahn, age 63 years, of Carver, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at his home. He was the husband of Kim (McMahon) Hahn, and the son of the late Wesley and Lorraine (Casey) Hahn. Born on June 13, 1959 in Plymouth, he was a graduate of Plymouth-Carver High School, class of 1977. Following high school, Philip joined the United States Navy. He started his career as a printer in Plymouth, and continued as a custodian at local schools. He loved his job with the Plymouth schools, retiring from PCIS. An avid Boston sports fan, he especially loved to watch the New England Patriots. Philip loved the beaches and the ocean. Phil loved boating, fishing and crabbing in Wareham on the Agawam River with his late good friend, Dave Gallant, and spending time with his dad at the Sagamore Rifle club. He and Kim were animal lovers, adopting many dogs over the years from the Plymouth Animal Shelter.
Besides his loving wife Kim, Philip will be missed by his brother Stephen Hahn and his wife Karen of Plymouth, niece Courtney Hahn and nephew Derek Hahn. and cousins Cathy Canney of Natick and Theresa Casey of Plymouth.
He was predeceased by his aunts Emma Cecco and Mae Casey, his uncle John Casey,
Memorial visitation for Philip will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 3:00PM – 5:00PM in the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court Street, Plymouth (next to Cordage Park). Interment in the National Cemetery of Massachusetts, Bourne will be held at a later date.
