Obituaries
Peter C. Vigneau of Carver, passed away at Bridges by Epoch in Pembroke on March 3, 2022 at the age of eighty-one. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Sullivan) Vigneau; loving father of Stephanie Cooke and her husband Barry of Carver, Peter Vigneau of Plymouth, Marc Vigneau and his wife Adele of Hanson; cherished grandfather of Ben, Kyle, Chloe, Abbie and Lauren. He was the brother of Francis Vigneau and his wife Claire of Maine and the late Mary Ellen Neville, Jacqueline Brenner and Daniel Vigneau.
Peter was born on August 7, 1940 in Boston to the late Francis and Elizabeth (Coughlin) Vigneau. He grew up in Hingham and attended Hingham schools. He also attended Boston University where he played on the hockey team. Peter was a Business Manager at Leasing Associates for thirty-five years until his retirement. He grew up on the water and enjoyed sailing. He also enjoyed working around his yard and on projects in his shed. After his retirement, Peter enjoyed travelling both here and abroad. He was a frequent visitor to "The Most Magical Place on Earth"-Disneyworld, with his wife and family.
A period of visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022, from 2:00pm to 5:00 pm at the Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court Street, Plymouth. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 126 South Meadow Road, Plymouth.
