Paul George Ray, 83, of Carver, previously of Whitman, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19th, 2023, with his children by his side.
Paul is survived by his devoted wife, Paula (McAskill) of 47 years. Children, Jeffrey and wife Amanda, Jennifer, and husband Marc. Loving "Papa" of Drew, Derek, and Cy.
Paul was born March 24th, 1939, to the late Milton and Laura Ray. In his early years, he spent time in Berlin Germany with the US ARMY as a medic. Paul worked for TRW in Cambridge for 25 years. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life like camping trips to New Hampshire and Sunday car rides. His endless shows on Netflix and his love for solitaire kept him busy. He also took joy in watching boats cross through the Cape Cod Canal, people-watching, and spending time with his beautiful grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on January 28th at 10 O'clock at Union Cemetery, 29 S Main St. Carver, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or www.stjude.org.
