Obituaries
Paul J. Hathaway, 80, of Plymouth passed away on June 11, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband to his high school sweetheart Marcia (Sturtevant) Hathaway for 59 years. He was born on August 26, 1940 to the late Evelyn G. Nickerson and Howard F. Hathaway.
Paul worked for the Plymouth Housing Authority as maintenance supervisor until his retirement in 2002. He was also a licensed electrician and jack of all trades. He never hesitated to help his children with any project, whether it be car repair or home maintenance.
Paul enjoyed skiing, biking, traveling with his friends and family, meeting “the guys’ for coffee and he tried to enjoy golf with his wife.
He leaves behind his wife, Marcia. His three children, Kristyne Wood and her husband Gene; Craig Hathaway and Cheryl Cobb. His grandchildren, Michael J. Wood and his wife Peg, Jeffrey A.Wood, Cody J. Hathaway, Zachary T. Cobb and his great grandchild, Dom G. Wood, all of whom are from Plymouth.
Our family would like to express our gratitude to the nurses from Cranberry Hospice for their care, guidance and support through this difficult chapter in our lives.
Visitation hours on Saturday June 19th from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm in the Cartmell Life Celebration Funeral Home 150 Court St. Plymouth (Downtown). Followed by a Funeral Service at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Vine Hills Cemetery Plymouth. Online guest book please visit www.cartmelldavis.com
