Patricia (Griffin) Wilson-Sims of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2016 at home with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Simon and Annie Griffin. Former wife of the late Edward J. Wilson and the beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Sims, Jr. She was the loving mother of William J. Wilson and his wife Janis of Harwich and Peter G. Wilson and his wife Debra of Plymouth. Devoted grandmother of Alana, Jared, Ian, and Li-Ann (Shay). Pat is also survived by the Sharastanian Family of Plymouth and the late John Welch and Family of Priscilla Beach, along with several cousins and dear friends. Pat graduated from Boston English and Latin School and The Lee Institute of Real Estate. Immediately following her education, she was employed in the Special Agents division of Commercial Union Insurance Company. In her earlier years, she was very active in the Democratic Party and spent many hours campaigning for "her" candidates. Pat was proud of her accomplishments and her independence, climbing to the top of the mountain at Medjugorie, Yugoslavia, as well as the Mountain at Lasallete in France during a pilgrimage for her special grandson, Ian. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul and taught CCD at St. Bonaventure's Parish. Pat routinely lectured alongside Father Kennelly and was very dedicated to the church. She was former Sales and Functions Director at White Cliffs and Mayflower Inn. Pat retired in 1991 after 18 years as principal clerk at the Plymouth Registry of Deeds. Pat was well traveled, enjoying Puerto Rico, France, Ireland, Italy , Switzerland and Canada to name just a few. Visiting hours will be held at the Davis Funeral & Cremation Home, 619 State Rd., Manomet (Plymouth) on Sunday January 10, 2016, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The funeral will take place on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. from the Davis Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter's Church, 84 Court St., Plymouth beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Plymouth.
