Obituaries
Patricia A. Izzo, age 83 years, of Plymouth, died Friday, December 25, 2020 at Harborside Health Care Nursing home. She was the wife of Victor Izzo, and the daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen (Downey) Higgins. Born on May 26, 1937 in Cambridge, she moved to Plymouth in 1963. Patricia was educated a Cambridge Ringe and Latin High School in Cambridge and worked as a waitress at Dearn and McGrath’s Restaurant on Plymouth’s waterfront for many years. She enjoyed dining out, shopping and taking drives around the area. She also enjoyed caring for her grandson.
Besides her loving husband Victor of 57 years, she is survived by her two daughters Tara Izzo and Maureen Izzo, both of Plymouth, and her grandson Nicholas Filkins and his father Peter Filkins of Plymouth. She was the sister of James Higgings and his wife Anne of Yarmouth and Edward Higgings and his wife Linda of Yarmouth, the late David Higgins, his wife Tracy of Braintree, Barbara Daniels and her deceased husband William of Hanover. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours for Patricia will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 9:00AM – 11:00AM, in the DAVIS LIFE CELEBRATION AND FUNERAL HOME, 373 Court St., (Next to Cordage Park) Plymouth, followed by a service at 11:00AM. Private interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Plymouth, MA 02360.
