Norman C. Smith of Weymouth MA died on January 6th in Texas. He was the beloved husband of the late Arlene (Botelho) Smith. Loving father of Norman C. Smith Jr of Denver, N.C. and Noreen Rogers of San Angelo, TX and grandfather of Joseph Rogers of San Francisco, CA.
Born in Somerville, MA on March 2, 1930 a son of the late Eugene W. and Madelaine (Myatt) Smith. Norman served with the Navy and US Air Force during the Korean War, He worked the Cordage Rope Factory in Plymouth MA and he later went on to work as a Linotype Machinist for the Patriot Ledger and retired after 40 years of service. Funeral Service will be on Saturday January 16th at 10:00 am in the Cartmell Funeral Home 150 Court St. Plymouth. Visiting hours on Friday January 15th from 4-7 pm. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Plymouth.
