Nicholas Kardoose of Stratham, New Hampshire, passed away on February 26, 2023, at Exeter Hospital in New Hampshire at the age of 80. He was the beloved husband of the late Marguerite (Austin) Kardoose and Beverly (Glenn) Kardoose; the loving father of Karen LeBlanc and her husband James of Plymouth and Nicholas A. Kardoose and his wife Kristen of Whitman. He was the cherished grandfather of Adam and Lindsey LeBlanc and Jenna and Nicholas R. Kardoose. He was the brother of the late Louis Kardoose and his late wife, Camille. He was the beloved uncle of Anthony Kardoose, Camille Kardoose-Michelini, and the late Louis Kardoose.
Nicholas was born on January 6, 1943, in Boston to the late Anthony and Josephine (Maloof) Kardoose. He grew up in the south end of Boston, moved to Quincy to raise his family, and eventually retired in Stratham, NH. He graduated from Boston Technical High School, class of 1960. He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston to study drafting. He was a Mechanical Engineer at MIT Lincoln Laboratories for most of his career and later in his retirement worked part-time at Lowe's in Stratham, NH. He was also a part-time DJ for many years. Nicholas loved to dance. He enjoyed bowling and his quiet trips to Lake Winnipesaukee with his wife Marge. He was very passionate about family, a trait and strength he passed on to his children.
A period of visitation will take place on Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court Street, Plymouth. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 9:30 am. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am at St. Peter's Church, 86 Court Street, Plymouth. The burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692, or www.heart.org.
