Nancy L. (Hoyt) Campbell of Plymouth, passed away at home on September 8, 2022 at the age of eighty-five. She was the beloved wife of the late Clyde P. Campbell; loving mother of Lisa Carini and her husband Joseph of Raynham, Laurie Cahill of Braintree, Marianne Hodges and her husband Timothy of Quincy, Wayne Campbell and his wife Doreen of Abington, Kevin Campbell of Boston, Christine Plant and her husband Dennis from Plymouth and the late Paula Campbell; cherished grandmother of Brandon Cahill, Andrew and Ryan Sullivan, Matthew and Hannah Hodges, Kailey, Christopher, and Elizabeth Campbell, Samantha, Kyle and Michael Plant. She was the sister of the late Mary Morris, Barbara Egan, and James Hoyt. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was born on December 21, 1936 in Quincy to the late Leon and Anne (Palmer) Hoyt. She graduated from North Quincy High School. She worked for many years at Stop & Shop Company until her retirement. She was an avid Red Sox fan. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family, looking at the ocean and her time spent having fun with her niece, Barbara Stewart. She volunteered her time at The Thrifty Pilgrim store in Plymouth.
A period of visitation will take place on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court Street, Plymouth. A memorial service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 7:00 pm. The interment will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, P.O.
