"Muriel F. (Webster) Stefani 86, died January 29, 2010 at Golden Living Center in Plymouth, MA after a lengthy illness. She leaves her beloved husband of 57 years, Henry (Murph) Stefani, her sister-in- law Virginia Stefani of Bluffton, SC and companion Leonard Russell, her brother-in-law Michael Stefani and his wife Kathy and children Cheranne Johnson, Kristopher Stefani, Amy Jorud, Bridget and Michael Stefani, all of Plymouth, and many great nieces and nephews. Born in Sanford Maine, Mrs. Stefani was the daughter Laverna Shupe and Enoch Webster. After completing Business Secretarial Studies at the Catherine Gibbs School, Mrs. Stefani began her business career as an Executive Secretary to a Leather Importer in Boston. Mrs. Stefani also served as an Executive Secretary to President Ellis Brewster of the Cordage Company in Plymouth. When the Cordage Company closed, Mrs. Stefani worked at the Plimouth Plantation as a Public Relations Person. Mrs. Stefani retired from Gage-Wiley Investment Company, where she provided investment guidance to dozens of personal clients. Mrs. Stefani loved to travel, visiting Europe several times with a group of tried-and true friends, exploring the American West with her mother and accompanying her husband on sales calls through New England and upstate New York. At home, Mrs. Stefani loved reading and listening to music surrounded by her husband?s photographs and mementos of their travels. Both were active members of the Plymouth Country Club and Plymouth Yacht Club. She volunteered at Jordan Hospital for many years and was an enthusiastic and generous supporter of many charitable and cultural organizations. A private family memorial service will take place at Richard Davis Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Stefani may be made to the Jordan Hospital, 275 Sandwich St, Plymouth, MA 02360. "
