We are sad to announce the passing of Monique Angel Lamoureux of Carver, MA. Monique passed away on December 30, 2022 at the age of 47 surrounded by those who loved her.
Monique loved her family and friends and always jumped at any opportunity to socialize. She would light up the room with her smile, her boisterous laugh and her nicknames for everyone. She never forgot a face and if she spoke to you once, she would remember you forever. She never lacked in the conversation department and always had something to talk about. Monique cared deeply about people and always wanted to get to know you. Visitors were always welcomed at Monique’s house. She loved talking on the phone with her sister Jan and looked forward to their phone calls every day.
Monique loved coloring pictures for people she cared about and if you were lucky enough to be one of those people, you have a stack of pictures from her with caring messages written by her. She enjoyed making arts and crafts but she never kept anything she made for herself, she always wanted other people to enjoy what she made. Monique was an avid skip Bo player and taught everyone she could possibly teach to play skip Bo. She would play skip Bo for hours on end and always have you laughing while you played with her. She never missed an opportunity to enjoy her hazelnut ice coffee from dunks.
Monique is survived by her foster parents Jeanine and Ken Krushas of Plymouth, MA. Her sister Jan Dugay of Texas and her niece and nephew. Her housemates Amber, Gina and Tina and all of the staff that have ever worked with her. She will be sorely missed by many close friends who loved her.
We’ll keep the skip Bo tournament going strong for you. Be at peace Monique.
