Michael was the beloved husband of Honour (Rougeau) Ferris with whom he shared 37 wonderful years together. Born in Brockton, MA on March 26, 1954, he was the son of the late George and Catherine Ferris.
Michael was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School, Class of 1972. Always a hard worker, he worked for most of his life as a truck driver, recently retiring in the Spring of 2019.
Michael enjoyed spending time working in his yard. He was a devoted New York Giants fan and an avid reader. Every Summer Sunday, you could find Michael grilling on his back deck and enjoying a cold Budweiser. But above all else, he loved his family.
Besides his loving wife Honour, he leaves behind his three girls; Sarah Enos, her two children Gwendolyn and Brayden Enos, Cary Brown, her daughter Elle Sawiski and Dawn Ferris with her husband Jason Percy. He also leaves his dear sister Deborah Silva and her husband Joseph Silva. And his "Buddy" Charlie the cat.
Michael's warm and kind demeanor always made everyone feel at ease. He truly was one of a kind.
The visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 619 State Road, Plymouth (Manomet) from 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm. Followed by a service in the funeral home at 4:00 pm.
