Michael Daniel Dyer of Plymouth passed away suddenly on Saturday August 6th at his home. Born in Needham, Massachusetts on May 31, 1963, son of the late Donald W. Dyer and Ann Peirce Dyer of Manomet. Mike graduated from Plymouth – Carver High School class of 1982. He went on to serve his country in the 82nd Air Bourne division Paratrooper with the US Army. He was an avid reader, history buff and enjoyed visiting Civil War sites. Michael was happiest when riding his Harley-Davidson. He was a member of Local 723 Carpenters Union.
He leaves behind his daughter Miranda Jane Dyer of Wareham, his son Kevin D. Dyer of Plymouth, stepdaughter Kaitlyn Connolly of Marshfield and one grandchild Delilah Rose, his sunshine. Michael was devoted to his partner Annette Connolly of Plymouth and loved the Connolly family. He is also survived by his twin brother Bryan Dyer of Plymouth and 3 sisters Sue Ellen Clegg and her husband Bill of Plainville, Gail Dyer of Plymouth and Donna Jacobs and her husband Steven. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the former husband of Jennifer Dyer of Plymouth.
Visiting hours in the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home 619 State Rd. Plymouth (Manomet) on Friday August 12 from 4-7 pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday August 13th at 10:00am in St. Bonaventure Church Manomet. Burial in Manomet Cemetery.
