Marilyn C. (Goodrich) White of Plymouth, died peacefully in her home with her family at her side on Saturday September 24th. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. White. Born in Brockton, Ma. on June 21, 1932, daughter of the late William and Christine (Goulet) Goodrich. Educated in Brockton , Marilyn grew up in Brockton and later married and began their family together raising 4 sons. She later went to work as a Tax Preparer for H&R Block and also became a Real Estate Broker. She loved the Boston Red Sox and watching western movies. Her greatest joy was time spent with her large extended family.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Mark C. White and his wife Mary of Brockton, William P. White and his wife Valerie of Plymouth and John White II of Plymouth. She was the mother of the late Michael J. White.
Cherished grandmother of Melissa Eckman, Nichole Messina, James White, Sean White, Kathleen White, Patricia White, Shannon White, Crystal Twigg, Andrew White, Megan Ross, Tayla White and Samantha White. Great grandmother of Bentley, Kyle, Aiden, Mason, Landon, Athea, Olivia and Calum.
Visiting hours in the Cartmell- Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 619 State Rd. Plymouth (Manomet) on Friday September 30th from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday October 1st at 10:00 am in St. Bonaventure Church Manomet. Burial in Northville Cemetery in East Bridgewater. Memorial donations in her name may be made to Cranberry Hospice 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
