Obituaries
Marcia Allen, age 85 years, of Plymouth, died Thursday, November 18, 2021 at her home. She was predeceased by her late husband Frederick Allen, and was the daughter of the late Leon Louis and Olive Jackson (Canning) Cooper. Born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut, Marcia was known for speaking her mind. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch in downtown Plymouth, watching the world go by. She loved socializing with her many friends and found great joy in spending time with her family. She was a wonderful cook, baker and pie-making was her specialty. A big fan of baseball, she was a devoted fan of Johnny Damon. Besides celebrating all things Christmas, she was devoted to sending loved ones beautiful Christmas cards and gifts.
She will be sadly missed by her two sons, Mark Munger and his wife Lauren of Weymouth and Matthew Fredericks and his fiancé Phyllis Mallozzi of Plymouth, her grandchildren Graham, Faren and Evan Munger, Matthew, Jessica and Samuel Fredericks and Jade Antonelli. She also leaves twelve great grandchildren, her cousin Cindy and many dear friends. She was the companion of the late Oliver "Bunny" Paul. Her family is grateful for the loving care she received from Marj, Ashlee and Hospice of Massachusetts.
A funeral service will be held in the CARTMELL LIFE CELEBRATION FUNERAL HOME,
150 Court Street, Plymouth (downtown) on Wednesday at 11:00AM, followed by interment in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth. Visitation with the family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00PM - 7:00PM.
