Manuel Fernandez

Manuel Fernandez of Kingston May 22nd, beloved husband of Mary Ann (Martin) Fernandez. Loving father of Manuel J. of Kingston, Renée A. White of Cranston, R.I. , Leah D. Mendes of Carver and Gwen M. Arcot of Kingston. Brother of Alma Andrews of Plympton and Eva Fernandes of Wareham. Grandfather of Nakishna, Tycollo, André and Devica. Great Grandfather of Elijah, Alaina and Camryn. Born in Plympton, Ma. September 23, 1924 a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Monterio) Fernandez. He was educated in the Plympton schools. He served with the U.S. Air Force during WWII with the Tuskegee Airman 332nd Fighter Squadron. Manny worked in construction and was a Forman with D.W. White Co. He was an active member of St. Joseph’s council Knight of Columbus #4480 in Kingston where he was the Club Manager for many years and served on many committees and was a Past Grand Knight. Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home 150 Court St. Plymouth on WED. At 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Peter’s Church Plymouth at 10:00 am. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8 pm only.
