Malcolm B. Perry
August 26, 1913 - January 25, 2014
PERRY, Malcolm B. of Dorchester 100 yrs. , passed away January 25th after a brief illness .Devoted husband of the late Muriel ( Caiger ), Loving father of the late John F. Perry and the late Virginia A. Perry. Survived by son Robert A Perry and wife Janice ( Salemmi ) of Marshfield and son Richard F. Perry of Dorchester. The extra-loving Grandpa of nine Grandchildren and seven great Grandchildren. Mr. Perry was the son of renown American landscape and seascape artist Frank C. Perry. Mr Perry was born in Putnam Connecticut on August 26th, 1913 .Upon completion of High School Mr. Perry attended and graduated from The Scott Carbee School of Art in Boston. As an artist his paintings hang in many private collections .His mural behind the baptismal at Dorchester Temple Baptist Church is one his largest canvases. As a young man he studied body building at the Y.M.C.A. Here he would give Judo demonstrations to the cadets of the Boston Police Department. He was also an accomplished herbologist. He studied the medicinal use of plants and herbs and many people approached him for his advise on the subject. He attributed his long life to use of said herbs and the avoidance of institutional medicine. Please contact Mr. R.A.
