Madeline Marie (Dries) Haverstock of Plymouth passed away at Benchmark Senior Living at Plymouth Crossings on January 20, 2023, at the age of ninety-two. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Haverstock; the loving mother of William Haverstock and his wife Susan of Virginia, Paul Haverstock and his wife Kimberly of Montana, and Cindy Haverstock of Carver; grandmother of Sam, William, and Lily Haverstock and great grandmother of Gracelyn. She was the sister of Jeanne O’Donnell of Carver and the late Rinckey Dries and Joanne Correa.
Madeline was born on July 28, 1930, in Plymouth to the late Warren and Rose (Botieri) Dries. She attended and graduated from Plymouth Schools. She worked as a legal secretary for Thomas M. Frates, PC, until her retirement. Madeline was very creative, and crafty and was very talented at sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She made clothing for herself and other family members, afghans, and created beautiful handmade wreaths. She loved her family and spending time with them. She will be dearly missed.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 150 Court Street, Plymouth. Interment will follow the service at Vine Hills Cemetery, Samoset Street, Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601, or www.alz.org.
