Obituaries
Lynne DePaolo, age 62 years, of Plymouth, died Thursday, January 12, 2023. She was the wife of the late William Walsh, and the daughter of Paul and Annette (martinello) DiPaolo. Born in Boston on June 9, 1960, she was raised in Braintree, moved to Pembroke where she raised her children than moved to Manomet and her most recent residence was Plymouth. She was educated at Massasoit Community College and worked as an advocate for domestic violence at the South Shore Women’s Shelter in Plymouth, and the Plymouth court House, but in recent years she acquired a certification to be a home health aid and was loved by her clients.
Her hobbies consisted of cooking, running, exercising, reading, writing and taking a ride on the back of a Harley-Davidson, But her favorite was listening to music and going to concerts. She also liked going to the beach and when her kids were younger they would go to her parent’s summer home in Falmouth, Until her parents moved to Naples, FL which Lynne visited on occasion. She had a great sense of humor, always making people laugh and enjoyed socializing with her many friends. Lynne loved being a mother and was very proud of her two children.
She was a loving, caring, smart woman and will be missed immensely by all. Besides her mother and father Lynne will be missed by her children Alyssa Gould and her fiancé John Regina of Taunton, and Jason Kennedy and his wife Melissa of Pembroke, grandchildren Haleigh and Preston Kennedy, her brother Mark DiPaolo of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and her dear, devoted friend Eileen Baldwin of Manomet. Visitation with Lynne’s family will be on Monday, January 23, 2023 at the Cartmell-Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court Street, Plymouth from 4:00PM – 8:00PM. Interment will be private.
