Obituaries
Katherine M. (Anderson) Hotte of Plymouth, passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth on January 28, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Richard E. Hotte; loving mother of Deb Huntington of Plymouth, Ed Huntington and his wife Adrienne of Maine, Joe Huntington and his wife Nie of Florida, Lisa Green and her husband Tod of Ohio, Michelle Serafini of Sagamore Beach and the late Paul Huntington; cherished grandmother of Corey, Ashley, Michael, Kaylee, Austin, Samantha, Travis, Jerrod, Gabby, Aiden and Ethan. She also leaves three great grandchildren and her brother Robert Anderson and his wife Linda of Hull.
Katherine was born on August 16, 1940 in Dorchester to Paul and Margaret (Anastasi) Anderson. She was a devoted and loving mother. She worked as a CNA for Home Health Care and Window Display Designer for Christmas Tree Shop. She had a passion for gardening and was an avid reader. She enjoyed flower arranging, ceramics and cake decorating. She had aspired to become an Interpreter and Florist. Katherine along with her husband, Rick were members of the Cape Way Rovers Motorcycle Club, they loved to travel together and their favorite locations were Maine and Lake George. Katherine will be dearly missed by all those who loved her.
A period of visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court Street, Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., STE 3004, Warwick, RI 02886 or www.cancer.org.
