Obituaries
John H. “Jackie” Fallon, age 86 years, of Manomet, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at his home. He was the husband of Ann (Mulqueeney) Fallon, and the son of the late John H. and J. Clare (MacDonald) Fallon. Born on November 16, 1936 in Boston, Jack grew up in Quincy before moving to Manomet where he and his wife Ann began raising their family. They ran Holly Tree Farm in Manomet and later moved their family to Wolfeboro, New Hampshire when the bought and ran the Lakeview Inn. In later years they retired to Quincy before moving back home to Manomet. Jack was an avid skier and had a great love for horses. He enjoyed walking, especially along the Cape Cod Canal, bicycling, kayaking and playing racquetball.
Besides his wife Ann, he is survived by his children Annmarie Fallon of Manomet, John H. Fallon III and his wife Felicia of Smithfield, RI, Gregory Fallon and his wife Carin of Hopkinton, and Clare Bast and her husband Mark of Scituate. He was predeceased by his son Paul Fallon. He also leaves his daughter-in-law Cathleen Fallon-Evans, his grandchildren Gregory and David Krasnowiecki, Sandra and John Fallon IV, Matthew and Samantha, Tyler, Margaret, Kaitlin, Paul Fallon Jr., Elizabeth, Griffin, Sarah and Ella Bast, eight great grandchildren, and his siblings, Douglas and Chris Fallon, and Donna Sweeney.
His funeral will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at St. Bonaventure’s Church, 803 State Road in Manomet at 11:00AM. Visitation with the Fallon family will be held from 10:00AM – 11:00AM in the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Fund for the Needy, St Bonaventure, 803 State Road.
