Obituaries
Jenna Leigh Covel was born on April 14, 1987, the only child of Michelle Covel-Mullen. She attended Plymouth South High School, where she discovered her love for cosmetology. Jenna, her mother, and grandmother were the first three-generation of women members of the Elks club, where she spent much of her young adult life volunteering and entertaining. Jenna was a natural caregiver who later became a medical assistant and studied at York Technical College, South Carolina, to become a radiology technician. She was a very loving and generous person who expressed a deep care and concern for her family and friends. She was known by most for her smile and joyful personality.
Jenna loved music, dancing, and singing karaoke with loved ones. She was always cooking something for someone and had a playlist for every occasion. She also loved adventure. You could find her four-wheeling through South Carolina or traveling across the country for a music concert. If she was home you would find her in her yoga pants, snuggled up with her beloved fur-baby Mikie or out in the backyard lighting a bonfire.
Jenna was a stunning young woman with breathtaking beauty. Some family-favorite memories of Jenna are watching her jam in the kitchen while taking some "10-fers," or yelling at the Bruins. There are too many words and memories to list, but the family will treasure the many times with her at the beach, camping, or at the family barbeque and will miss getting the late night haircuts she gave just because. Jenna had a vivacious personality and left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.
She took flight on March 9, 2023 which caused a devastating loss. She will be deeply missed.
Jenna is survived by her parents, Michelle Covel-Mullen and Mark Mullen; her grandmother Shirley Mullen; her sister Tayla Foscaldi; her aunt Desiree and uncle Darren Andrews; her uncle Michael and aunt Patricia Covel; her aunt Michelle and uncle Jay Morrissey; her niece and nephews; her cousins, and a host of close family members and friends. She is predeceased by her grandparents Michael and Virginia Covel, and her grandfather George Mullen.
Please join us on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at CARTMELL FUNERAL HOME, 150 Court St., Plymouth, MA from 10am-12pm for visitation with Jenna's family. Her celebration of life to follow.
