Jane T. (Fernez) Savi of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on December 13, 2022 at the age of eighty-eight. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry “Doc” Savi, Jr.; loving mother of Karen Hernandez and her husband John of Plymouth, Debra Zona and her husband Jeffrey of Plymouth, Kenneth Savi of Virginia, and Nancy Savi and her husband Chris Connor of Florida; cherished grandmother of Benjamin Botelho, April McKenna and her husband Sean, Steven Zona and his wife Tessa, Christine Metjahic and her husband Skender, Jake Savi, Joshua Lovell, Nathan Lovell and his wife Samantha, and Matthew Lovell; great grandmother of Mackenzie, Maverick, Meadow, Mountain, Ryan, Reyna, Chloe, Maelyn, Sydney, Arianna, Adelina, Arlinda, Arijela, Michael, Tristan, Brayden, and Josie; sister of Lucian Fernez of Halifax and the late Adeline Rock, Paul Fernez, Henry Fernez, Maurice Fernez, Louise Drew, and Palmire Fernez.
Jane was born on July 19, 1934 in Plymouth to the late Paul and Louise Fernez. Jane enjoyed keno, the casino and “scooting” around town on her scooter. She was a member of the American Legion Post 40 in Plymouth. Jane’s greatest joy was her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She will be dearly missed by all those who loved her.
Services will be private and a celebration of her life will be held at later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Jane’s memory can be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
