James F. LeBlanc of Plymouth, passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth on November 27, 2022 at the age of eighty-four. He was the beloved husband of sixty-one years to Lina (Doucet) LeBlanc; loving father of Debra LeBlanc and her husband Mark Halberstein of Framingham, James M. LeBlanc and his wife Karen of Plymouth, Rene Pecoraro and her husband Brian of Yarmouth Port, Angela LeBlanc of West Yarmouth; cherished grandfather of Lea, Adam, Lindsey, Michelle, and Charlotte. He was the brother of Rita Guzzi of Newton, Kenneth LeBlanc of Allston, Karen LeBlanc of West Yarmouth and the late Esther Krinsky, Jeanne Burley, and Robert LeBlanc.
James was born on December 1, 1937 in Waltham to the late Moise and Mary (Murphy) LeBlanc. He grew up in Waltham and graduated from St. Mary’s High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. He was a pharmacist and the owner of Plymouth Pharmacy for fifteen years. James enjoyed golfing and loved spending time with his family.
A period of visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 150 Court Street, Plymouth. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated following the visitation at 11:00 am at St. Peter’s Church, 86 Court Street, Plymouth. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org.
