Helen Louise (O’Halloran) Heaney of Plymouth/Manomet, passed peacefully on September 23rd.
Helen “Honey” was the loving wife of Joseph Heaney for sixty-six years. She was the devoted mother of Elizabeth Silva and her husband Marc of Sagamore Beach, Joseph Heaney, Jr. of Manomet, Kevin Heaney of Dedham and the late Timothy Heaney and his wife Lolly of Manomet, the late Helen Saro, the late Robert Heaney and the late Richard Heaney. She was the sister of James O’Halloran of Arlington and the late Marguerite, Betty, Edward, Jack, Paul and Robert. Loving “Nana” of Brian, James, Jason, Miranda, Hannah, Emily, Kevin, and Melissa. Great-grandmother of Lucy and Josephine.
Honey devoted her life to the love of her husband, children, family and cherished friends.
A period of visitation will take place on Monday, October 3, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 619 Sate Road, Plymouth (Manomet). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, 11:00 am at St. Bonaventure Church, 803 State Road, Plymouth (Manomet). Interment will immediately follow the mass at Manomet Cemetery, 19 White Horse Road, Plymouth (Manomet). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Moving Forward, 45 White Cap Lane, West Barnstable, MA 02668 or www.movingforwardinc.org. This organization supports Helen and Joe’s longstanding gifting to organizations that support children and adults on the autism spectrum.
