Harvey E. Walker of Plymouth, passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth on December 20, 2021 at the age of eighty. He was the beloved husband of the late Carolyn (Pimental) Walker. He was the brother of Nancy Dusterfeld of Plymouth and Glenn Martin of Plymouth. He was the uncle of Alexandra Dusterfeld. He leaves his loving neighbors and friends.
Harvey was born on October 2, 1941 in Plymouth to the late Charles and Elizabeth (Johnson) Walker. He honorably served our country with the United States Navy aboard the USS Forestall Attack Carrier. He was a dedicated employee at Osmonics, Inc. He was co-owner of a pet store. Harvey was a lover of nature and animals. He generously supported and donated to animal shelters. He loved golf and even made his own golf clubs. On multiple occasions he was the recipient of the Hole-in-One award. He was a lover of all types of music He enjoyed watching the Bruins and Red Sox. He was a member of the Community Theater, where he helped with props and setting up the stage. Harvey was a genuine kind soul who put others before himself. He will be dearly missed.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, 11:30 am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne.
