Obituaries
Hannah P. Blanchard-Dahlen of Plymouth, passed away at home on December 20, 2022 at the age of twenty. She was the beloved wife of C.J. Dahlen of Plymouth; loving daughter of Teri (Whitcomb) Morton of Plymouth and her late husband Cory Morton and Christopher Blanchard of Plymouth and his wife Claire; cherished sister of Allison and Katelyn Blanchard and Charlee Morton of Plymouth; step-sister of Ella Ryan of Plymouth. She was the granddaughter of Brian and Sherryl Whitcomb of Bourne, Mike and Joyce Anderson of Plymouth, and John Dahlen of Duxbury. She was the daughter-in-law of Colin and Loryn Dahlen of Kingston; sister-in-law of Paul, Katie, Haley, Megan, Allison, Kacie, and Johnny Dahlen all of Kingston. She also leaves her goddaughter, Azalea Marie Green and her cats, Richard, Callie, and Millie.
Hannah was born in Plymouth on January 14, 2002. She was a graduate of Plymouth South High School class of 2020. She was the first graduate from Plymouth South to walk on the ship of the Mayflower II and receive a commemorative Mayflower “diploma” After graduation, Hannah attended Bridgewater State University where she was working toward a degree in Psychology. She worked as a cashier at The Market in Plymouth and Target in Kingston. She enjoyed reading, watching crime documentaries and traveling. Hannah was halfway through receiving her pilot’s license. She loved helping others and was very optimistic. Even while sick, she maintained a positive attitude and even named her tumor “Karen”.
The family wishes to thank Dana-Farber’s Jimmy Fund and Cranberry Hospice in Plymouth for the exceptional care they took of Hannah.
A period of visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court Street, Plymouth. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 10:00 am at Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street, Duxbury. Interment will be held at a later date.
