Obituaries
Graceann (Swift) Case, age 60 years, of Plymouth, died Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at her home, in the loving care of her husband. She was the wife of Brian Case, and the daughter of the late Curtis and Virginia "Ginny" (Burnie) Swift. Born on October 22, 1962 in Plymouth, Graceann was a graduate of Plymouth-Carver High School, class of 1980. She worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department, and later for First Student as a Bus Driver. Graceann lived an active life, enjoying many different aspects. She had a love for animals, especially her horses and dogs. She owned and rode many different motorcycle, her last being the beloved Honda VTX 1300 that Brian bought for her. Brian and Graceann enjoyed life together. They cleared the land on which the two of them built their beautiful log cabin home. The went on many cruises together, enjoyed boating, fishing and lobstering, working the family bogs and shooting. Graceann liked skydiving and memorializing events and loved ones with her many tattoos. She was a seven-time World Champion Arm Wrestler, and cherished the Betty Jane Borey Breast Cancer Retreats she would go on, offering her support to others who offered her their support.
Besides her loving husband Brian, Graceann is survived by her brothers, Richard Swift and his partner Kathy of Pembroke, Michael Swift of Plymouth, and Curtis Swift and his wife Verna of Virginia. She was the daughter-in-law of Mary Lou Case of Duxbury and Ted and Maureen Case of Plymouth and the sister of the late Virginia "Ginger" Swift. She also leaves her brother-in-law Michael Case of Kingston and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation with Graceann's family will be held in the CARTMELL-DAVIS LIFE CELEBRATION FUNERAL HOME, 619 State Rd., Plymouth (Manomet) on Sunday February 26, 2023 from 2:00PM – 5:00PM. Funeral services will be private.
