Gerard E. Kelley, 86, of Kingston formerly of Boston, died peacefully on Friday, February 3rd at Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston. Born in Somerville, MA on April 10, 1936, son of the late Frank M. and Mary T. (Dacey) Kelley. Educated in Boston, he grew up in Mission Hill and worked as an O.R. Assistant at Boston’s Children’s Hospital. He moved to the South Shore from Boston in 2010.
Jerry, as he was known by family and friends, is survived by his sister-in-law, Margaret Kelley of Duxbury and several nieces and nephews. Jerry was the brother of the late Thomas J. Kelley and the late Francis P. Kelley. He was the brother-in-law of the late Alice (Walls) Kelley.
Visiting hours in the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home 373 Court St. North Plymouth (Near Cordage Park) will be held Thursday Feb. 9th from 5-7 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday Feb. 10th at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church 270 Main St. Kingston. Private burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
