Gary Richard Villano, 57, of Plymouth, MA, died accidentally on July 16th, 2022 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Plymouth, MA on November 24, 1964, Gary was the beloved son of Francis Richard and the late Janice Elizabeth (Cavicchi) Villano.
He was educated in Plymouth and was a graduate of Plymouth Carver High School. Gary went on to further his education by attending Wentworth College. He had worked for most of his life as a carpenter. He was a dedicated and loyal hard worker. Gary had a smile that would light up the room! He had a great sense of humor. If ever there was anyone in need of help with anything, Gary would always be first in line to offer his help. With his respect and gentle mannerisms, he could easily start up a conversation with anyone. He enjoyed golfing and spending time at the beach with friends. Without a doubt, Gary will be missed by the countless hearts he touched.
Gary is survived by his father Richard Villano and his wife Marilou of Plymouth. A proud father of his son Cory Villano of Plymouth and his daughter Nicole Villano of Plymouth. Loving brother of Suzanne Curling of Plymouth, Cheryl Fontaine and her husband Robert of Plymouth, Mark Villano and wife Colleen of Plymouth, step brother to Mark Sheridan and wife Michelle of Kingston and uncle to Kyle, Lexie, Mark Jr., Abby, Kyle, Lila, Meghan and Paige.
Visitation will be held on Friday night at the Cartmell-Davis Funeral & Cremation Home, 373 Court St., Plymouth from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Cartmell Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private for immediate family only in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Plymouth, following the Service. Donations in Gary’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
