Obituaries
Frank Paoluccio, 82 years old of Plymouth, MA, left this world on November 7, 2010. He died peacefully at Jordan Hospital after a long illness with his family by his side. Frank was born in Quincy, MA and has lived in Plymouth for the past 30 years. Son of the late Pasquale and Maria (Russo) Paoluccio. He is survived by his children Douglas, Stephen, Mark and Donna Schell. He is also survived by a brother, Matthew of Abington and a sister, Rita Tosone of Quincy. He has two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Frank was also the brother of the late Mary Chignola, Augustino, Clara Pompeo, Gerald, Ann Medeiros and Americo. He had many loyal friends who devoted their time and services to helping Frank while he was ill. A special thank-you to Robbie Haigh, Charles Checkley, Kevin Donovan, Steve Coughlin, Chris Querze, Larry Fava, Jeanne Delaney and Tony Bosari. Frank graduated from Quincy High School and the New England School of Broadcasting. He was self-employed for many years and was General Manager of the Playboy Club in Boston from 1967 until its closing in 1972. He was also Food and Beverage Manager for the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston and he was Food and Beverage Manager for Hillcrest Corporation. Frank was active in local politics in the Plymouth area and was also co-Producer of GBU Productions on PAC TV with Charles Checkley. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Road, Route 3A, Plymouth (Manomet) on Friday, November 12th from 4-6 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
