Elizabeth “Betty” F. Fallon, 83, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully after a long illness. Betty was born in 1938 in Weymouth. She was the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Gardner) Mullin of Hanover. She is survived by her spouse, Everett J Fallon and their three children, Beth (Fallon) Bastoni, Eva Fallon, and E J Fallon. She is also survived by their spouses, children, and one spunky great-grandchild, Evan.
Betty was a 1956 Graduate of Hanover High School and worked as a secretary in Boston before marrying Everett Fallon on July 4, 1959 at Saint Mark Dorchester Catholic Church. Together they moved to Brockton and raised three children. Betty was involved in many church activities, including teaching CCD and leading folk singing. Betty loved music, often gathering groups for a sing-along.
In 1985 Betty and Everett moved to Plymouth, where Betty continued as a bookkeeper for Western Auto. Betty continued singing, now at St Bonaventure Church and became involved with the Plymouth Public Library where she could be found repairing books when she wasn’t reading during Tots and Tales Storytime. In addition to music, Betty loved walking on Plymouth Beach, patting all the dogs, and watching the birds. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.
